OVER THE HOLIDAYS

Por situaciones ajenas a nuestra voluntad se cancela la carrera de Motocross programada para este Sábado 6 de Dic. en Rosarito.
Las autoridades de Caminos y Puentes Federales (CAPUFE) cerraron la única entrada disponible para acceder al predio donde se ubica la pista. Argumentando que la salida y acceso a la misma no esta autorizada.
Solicitamos al Ing. Sergio Delgadillo, Delegado de CAPUFE en la región, su apoyo para dejarnos concluir el evento programado, inclusive con el apoyo de la Secretaria de Turismo del Estado, el Ayuntamiento de Playas de Rosarito, el Comité de Turismo y Convenciones y la Dirección de Desarrollo Económico y Turismo, pero ninguno logro sensibilizar al Delegado.
Presentamos un plan de acceso, el cual tiene mas de 600 metros para entrar a la pista y mas de 200 metros para ingresar a la carretera, además de comprometernos a instalar señalización para entrada y salida. Mismo que no fue aceptado.
Los propietarios del predio, ya iniciaron los tramites para solicitar oficialmente los accesos, por lo que esperamos pronto poder re-iniciar prácticas y carreras.

For circumstances beyond our control, the race programmed for this coming Saturday in Rosarito Beach on Dec. 6th has been canceled.
Authorities of Caminos y Puentes Federales (Toll Roads) have closed the ONLY entrance to the track, arguing that the access and exit to the track is not an official one.
We spoke with the Delegate of the Toll Roads Mr. Sergio Delgadillo, for his support and to let us finish the last race of the year, request backed by the State Secretary of Tourism, the municipality of Rosarito, the Tourism and Conventions Bureau, the Department of Economic Development and Tourism, and nobody was able to convince the delegate.
We have presented an access plan, with more than 600 meters for the off-ramp, and 200 meters to access back into the highway, as well as installing signs for the entrance and exit, but were not accepted.
The owners of the property are working on the official permits, and hope to soon be able to start practice and racing there.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!! NEW RACE FORMAT!!! PLEASE READ...
1) There will be 3 Hits for each class. Old Style Motocross. Every race the place where you finish will add the total points scored. The least points rider will be the winner. Third MOTO breaks any ties if any.
2) Trophies will be awarded to 3rd place on each class, not to 30% as we used to.
3) Trophies will NOT be awarded on RACE DAY, but until the following race with your Name on it. At the December race, trophies will be issued DOUBLE on SUNDAY Dec. 7th. To the winners of the day and the winners of the Series, at our Carne Asada End-of-the-Year and Overall Champions Lunch Party.
4) The December race is a Double Points Race!
5) PRO's will collect their respective Pro-Purse ON RACE DAY with the traditional payback format.

1) Ahora serán un total de tres carreras por evento para cada categoria. Al estilo del Motocross tradicional. En cada hit o moto, se asignarán los puntos del lugar en que terminaron, el corredor con el menor número de puntos será el ganador. En caso de un empate, el tercer hit (moto) lo rompe.
2) Se entregarán trofeos a los tres primeros lugares de cada categoria, y no al 30% del total en la clase como se hacia antes.
3) Los trofeos NO se entregarán el día de la carrera, sino hasta el siguiente evento con tu nombre impreso. En la carrera de Diciembre abrá DOBLE premiación el Domingo 7 de Diciembre. Con la presentación de los ganadores del día y los Campeones del Serial, durante la Fiesta Carne Asada de fin de año.
4) La carrera de Diciembre es de Doble Puntuación!
5) Los PRO's recojerán su Premio en Efectivo en mismo día del evento bajo el tradicional formato de pago.

An incredible OCEAN VIEW track like no other!

This NEW track is located just 10 minutes NORTH of downtown Rosarito Beach, Mexico, on the Toll Road K24 on the Hwy.

Directions to the track:

From San Diego and LA: from Hwy 5 or 805 South, enter Tijuana, Mexico via San Ysidro. Follow the Rosarito-Ensenada TOLL-ROAD, look at the left at K24 on the Hwy (you'll see the track there, continue for about 1/2 mile, make a "U" turn at the RANCHO DEL MAR off ramp, going over the bridge, get on the Highway back to Tijuana, and Slow down for a VERY TECHNICAL exit.

The layout is the classic Outdoors MOTOCROSS Style.

The TRACK is on a 100% DIRT TRACK, open for Kids and Adults, on Small or Big Bikes, Quad's, Mini Quad's, Mini Bikes and Pewees.

CAMPING AVAILABLE!
Camping will be available ONLY ON RACE WEEKENDS
for $20 per night, per car or RV.

Trophies
1st, 2nd and 3rd Place on each class will be awarded. Trophies will NOT be presented ON RACE DAYS, but at the following race with your name tag on it. For the December race expect to stay overnight, cause on Sunday we'll present awards for the winners of the Final Round and the OVERALL WINNERS of the Series.

You have to participate in a minimum of 3 out of 4 races to qualify for the END OF THE SERIES awards ceremony.

Awards Ceremony
No awards ceremony will be held after the races, BUT YOU MUST PICK UO YOUR CERTIFICATE/DIPLOMA to claim your trophy on the next race.

Emergency Medical support will be provided at the event site by a local Paramedic and Ambulance service.
Remember, when you fill out your application, you'll need to sign the waiver and release form, where the participants consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable during this event, and understand that they are solely responsible for all costs related to medical transportation, and/or evacuation.
